We go forth

We go forth with honor in our hearts
And rage to the bone
We go forth working together
Or bravely all alone

We go forth with intelligence in our minds
And tools or weapons in hand
Ready to build or destroy
Which ever the situation demands

We must look to our better selves
We must not look away
I see judgement coming down the road
And it doesn't look like an easy day

We go forth with deep faith
Willing to walk in the heat or rain
We go forth with a love of the truth
And enough explosives to blow up the train

Dig it all up again and bury it
In a over used abused confused clown's trunk

What a man
Way to take a principled stand
Way to stay with the core
Who needs an intelligent command

Kneel at the alter of dull moderateness
Do the petty bed wetty preen and provoke
You only seem to be absolute fearless
When it comes to be willing to be a joke

You don't have the guns to fight
You don't have the fire to burn to learn
There is a difference between fool and jester
But not one of which you seem to be
